In addition to our currrent work with faculty, students, and community partners, we are especially proud to have impacted over 22,000 students who have, since 2004, contributed over 500,000 hours in service-learning courses, community service days, Alternative Break, and other service activities. Our hope is that your time serving the community as a SUNY Buffalo State student has had a strong impact on you and that you've found ways to become involved and engaged in your new community! If you're needing some inspiration on how to become more involved, the information below will certainly help point you in the right direction.
"Volunteering is the ultimate exercise in democracy. You vote in elections once a year, but when you volunteer, you vote every day about the kind of community you want to live in.” - Marjorie Moore
