BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTION: As the only urban public university in the SUNY system, SUNY Buffalo State is dedicated to supporting the intellectual growth of its students through campus and community collaborations. The Buffalo State Civic and Community Engagement Office (CCE) and Community Academic Center (CAC) are at the forefront of the campus’ collaboration with community partners. The CCE mission is to inspire lives of active citizenship and social responsibility in a diverse and complex society and to connect students, faculty, staff, and community partners through reciprocal curricular and co-curricular community-engaged learning to address identified community needs. The CAC's mission is to coordinate and anchor educational support programming for local youth, adults, and families. All CAC programs are open to community members and supported by Buffalo State community-based learners.
