This interactive session is designed for faculty and staff new to community-engaged learning and the practice of incorporating a community-based project into a course.
Topics will include:
• Overview of the theory and practice of service-learning
• Strategies for identifying reciprocal and meaningful community partnerships
• Discussion of effective methods of incorporating student reflection to connect the service and course learning
Adjunct faculty may be eligible for a $100 stipend from the Provost. Please register by e-mail.
