Mission:
WSPN works together with the West Side children, families, and individuals to ensure success from cradle to career and beyond.
Vision:
By 2025, Buffalo’s West Side will be a vibrant, diverse, safe, healthy, and inclusive neighborhood where every family is strong, every child is healthy, and every youth succeeds in school and achieves life-long success. To this end, we envision a cradle-through-college-to-career network composed of residents, community partners, and schools that work together to:
Follow a community action plan composed of:
A common agenda
A shared measurement system
A continuum of mutually reinforcing activities
Create and maintain a continuous communication system accessible to all stakeholders
Be respectful of neighborhood needs, cultural diversity, and stakeholder roles
Come together and respectfully listen to children, families, and each other to identify strengths and assets upon which effective solutions can continue to be built and unmet needs of the community are addressed
