Bengals Dare to Care 2023 Projects

  • 5 Loaves Farm

    Help an urban farm get ready for its fall clean-up, garden bed maintenance, and special event prep.

  • Allentown Association

    Volunteers will be assigned garden, street cleanup, and new bulb planting.

  • American Foundation for Suicide Prevention

     Volunteers will attend the Out of the Darkness awareness walk and then assist with the event cleanup.

  • Artspace Community Garden

    Volunteers will clean-up, weed, trim out paths, garden and harvest.

  • Black Rock Historical Society

    Volunteers will help with a mall out, labeling, folding letters, and stuffing envelopes.

  • Buffalo Missionary

    A community event will take place in the neighborhood of 10th street. Volunteers will be helping to prepare by distributing flyers, general cleanup, and making posters.

  • Community of Good Neighbors

    Volunteers will assist in unloading setting up, and handing out food while connecting with the community. After breaking down, volunteers will help at the pantry.

  • Community Resource Centers

    Volunteers will help with the beautification of the center through painting, and cleaning.

  • Elim Christian Fellowship Church

    Volunteers will help with cleaning, painting, gardening, and storage rearrangement.

  • FeedMore WNY

    Help an urban farm with weeding, harvesting, garden bed maintenance, etc.

  • Friends of Night People

    Friends of the Night's kitchen is at the center of the service. Help deep clean the kitchen and dining room to help them serve at their best.

  • Fruit Belt Coalition

    A general clean-up project by doing some weeding, gardening, and maintenance of the neighborhood.

  • Habitat for Humanity

    Volunteer will help repair and build a house foundation on the east side of buffalo.

  • Jewish Family Services

    Volunteers will organize and sort donations, and assemble welcome kits.

  • Milligans

    Volunteers will create bags out of old t-shirts. 

  • Little Portion Friary

    Volunteers will do some housekeeping and clean the kitchen.

  • None Like You/We Care

    Southampton: Impact Buffalo's east side with painting, cleaning, garbage pick up, and minor repairs.

    Sycamore: Impact Buffalo's east side with community house painting, gardening, and cleaning inside.

  • Norfolk Avenue Block Club

    Impact Buffalo's east side through beautification and cleaning up the William Gaiter Parkway.

  • Ransom House Inc.

    Impact veteran homelessness at its core with the beautification, cleaning, gardening, and lawn care of a permanent, furnished housing for homeless or fear of becoming homeless female veterans with children.

  • The Richardson Hotel

    A general clean up project by doing some weeding, gardening, and maintenance of the neighborhood. 

  • Tifft Nature Preserve

    Volunteers will clean the collected seeds. Seeds are used for replanting projects, tours, and programming.

  • UPward Design for Life

    Volunteers will beautify the grounds with gardening and cleaning.

    Volunteers will organize and sort donations, and assemble welcome kits.

  • Youth Outreach

    Volunteers will help with landscaping, building community garden beds, planting, and painting in the after-school program rooms.
